What We Buried is a dark fiction anthology exploring the things we bury—literally and metaphorically. Secrets, bodies, shame, trauma, guilt, and past selves… it’s all fair game. Whether it’s quiet psychological suspense or full-on horror, we want stories that leave a chill long after the last page.
🔹 Theme: What’s buried always finds a way back—secrets, sins, grief, guilt, or the dead
🔹 Tone: Psychological, horror, suspense, literary horror, or thriller (no extreme splatter or erotica)
🔹 Word Count: 5,000 to 20,000 words
🔹 Entry Fee: $35 (non-refundable)
🔹 Editing: All accepted stories will be professionally edited
