Chronicles of the Wicked invites authors to step into Everbroken—a shared realm filled with fog-drenched castles, enchanted thorns, cursed woods, and broken crowns. This dark and magical world houses the most infamous fairy tale villains, each reimagined through a new lens.

Will your villain seek redemption? Tell their origin story? Or challenge the tale we thought we knew?

Each story in the anthology begins with a short introduction by The Storyteller—a mysterious, ageless narrator who weaves a connective thread between the legends. No one knows who he is… only that he sees everything.

Wicked Witch of the West • Evil Queen • Captain Hook • Ursula • Queen of Hearts • Big Bad Wolf • Jafar • The Beast (pre-curse) • Mother Gothel • The Mirror • The Witch (Hansel & Gretel) • The Stepmother

🗒️ Submission Details

• Word Count: 30,000–50,000 words

• Entry Fee: $85 (non-refundable)

• Editing: All accepted stories will be professionally edited

• Trigger Warnings: Required at the beginning of every story

• Submission due: 3M before your release month Release: March- Feb. ‘30

• Shared Elements: Must include the Storyteller intro (100–300 words) and take place in the realm of Everbroken

• Tone: Dark fantasy, emotional, haunting, redemptive, or morally gray
